Tribute to Jesús Yáñez

Jesús Yáñez was born in La Paz, Baja California Sur, on January 26, 1990 and died on August 18, 2021. He was the winner of the Ciudad de La Paz Award in the poetry category in 2020 with El origin de la storm. Around the age of 17, he joined the theatrical ensemble Cassandra Maledictio and participated in various works such as:
The event will be held on the roof of the Maestro Justo Sierra Public Library, located at Calle Ignacio Altamirano 368, Zona Central 23000, at 8:00 p.m. Where, in memory of the young poet, there will be a dramatized reading of Medusa, the ashes of dreams and some other of his poems, with the participation of Dr. Mario Jaime, the writer Rodrigo Guluarte, the filmmaker Itzú Martínez, Kaleria Villegas, Román Díaz, The teacher Ramona Avilés Gómez and the actor Pablo González.
