The Carnival Of La Paz
It is known that the Carnival of La Paz is one of the oldest in Mexico, there are historical data that relate the beginnings of this holiday since the 19th century. At that time, it was the wealthiest families in the region who celebrated this activity on their farms, and you could only enter with invitation, they dressed their daughters with pompous and elegant clothes, among them they chose the queen of the carnival.
It was until 1888 that this party was held publicly to share the joy of the holiday and to celebrate the beginning of Lent.

For many years and today, this party is celebrated on the beautiful boardwalk of La Paz, decorated with the unique sunsets that the landscape offers us, where colors, sea and much joy merge. Among the activities carried out at this party, the coronation of the queen and king of the carnival, the parade of picturesque and extravagant allegorical cars along the coastal avenue, which are awarded at the end of the event, are also mounted several scenarios where musical numbers, dance, comedy shows, and much more are presented.
This holiday is expected by children and adults, since, throughout the carnival, there are hundreds of stalls that offer food, games, blankets, and lots of cute things.
