For the adventurous and not so adventurous lovers of the sun and the fresh sea breeze, there is a beach recognized for being one of the most dangerous in Los Cabos, in addition to having a rather peculiar name, the famous Playa del Divorcio is located next to the Pacific Ocean, its name was attributed to it by the contrast it has with the beach of Amor (located on one side), although both offer an exceptional landscape, its waters make the distinction between them.

Because it is open sea, La Playa del Divorcio is forbidden to swim or to carry out any activity in the water since it is characterized by having a high and wild swell with dangerous currents, and although we find ourselves with more limitations here than in others beaches, access is allowed to rest for a while on the soft sand, it is worth mentioning that to reach the beach of Love or Divorce you need a boat or boat.

Regarding the names given to these two beaches, it is said that they were born as a form of mockery when comparing two completely different seas side by side, on the one hand, the beach of Amor with relaxed waters and on the other hand that of Divorce with waves murky, but it is also said that there is a legend from the 18th century about the failure of the romance between a Mexican woman and a sailor of Japanese origin, causing a commotion in tourists who have been able to enjoy this beautiful journey through the union of the Sea of ​​Cortez and the Pacific Ocean.
