Mango Candy
One of the most interesting things when traveling is going into a different place, both in buildings, weather, fauna, as well as history and gastronomy. This delicious South Californian dessert is so important in our culture that it enjoys a festival that celebrates the start of the mango season in the region. This event contains various cultural and gastronomic samples where they exhibit the variety in the preparation of the sweet and aromatic fruit, with mango candy being the star dish that is consumed largely both at the festival and throughout the season.

The preparation of this candy in our region is imprecise, it is only believed that it started in a small town in the state called San Bartolo, which is popular for its food and richness in mango.
The preparation of the delicious delicacy is varied, but the use of mango, water and sugar predominates. Its production can be up to 12 hours and it is prepared by hand.
