June has arrived and Baja California Sur brings sport fishing tournaments for fishing lovers in the five municipalities of the state. With the collaboration of FONMAR, they will be carried out from Friday, June 17 to Sunday, June 19. Some of the tournaments you can find this month are:
This is a charity tournament that will take place in Punta Chivato, Mulegé, from June 17 to 19, where the species that will be sought is the dorado.
In La Paz, on June 19, this shore fishing tournament will be held on Las Pacas beach, by SEDIF and ISJ, awarding the victory to the catch with the greatest weight regardless of the species.
In López Mateos, as part of the celebration for parents, this tournament will be organized on Saturday the 18th and on Sunday the 19th “Lived with dad”, both shore fishing tournaments, rewarding the largest specimen.
On Nativity Island, this high seas horse mackerel tournament will be enjoyed for its 80th anniversary, it will be held by the “Buzos y Pescadores” cooperative, in addition to a shore fishing tournament for children and adults, for the Protection of Resources Marinos (FONMAR), registration will be open on Friday the 17th on the beach.
Remember that, in the case of wanting to participate in the high seas, it is necessary to have a sport fishing permit. If you still do not have yours, you can go to the official website or to the FONMAR offices.
