Día De Muertos Festival In La Paz Baja California Sur
Already being a tradition in the city of La Paz, the festival of the day of the dead takes place every year, on November 1 and 2.
Filling with wonderful colors, decorated with flowers, beautiful and peculiar altars, delicious food, a great contest of calaveritas and carnitas and catrinas accompany visitors to enjoy the pleasant sunset and evening, celebrating the great Mexican traditions.

You can enjoy the delicious food accompanied by a good atmosphere, eat an exquisite pan de muerto with hot chocolate, enjoy a rich mole, some delicious meat or rajas tamalitos, as well as a hot pozole among other traditional foods that will be available in the place in the already common food stalls.
From 18:00 hours the event begins with a great folkloric Baller offered by the Cadet team, which for several years has impressed with his great work and high quality presentations, always offering a great show.
Followed by the contest of calavertias, where the contestants demonstrate their creativity by reciting fun and creative skulls that will entertain them for the rest of the afternoon.
The great catrinas catwalk starts a couple of hours after the event starts, with great charisma, delicacy, they travel the event site, greeting and smiling to the event visitors.
Finishing with the contest of altars of the dead, decorated with beautiful flowers and beautiful colors, photographs, palms, incense, myrrh, traditional foods and drinks and favorites for the deceased, the altars allow to decorate the loved ones who have already left.
The awards for the competitions are held on November 2 at 9:00 p.m., ending the festival with music and lots of fun.
